Hello Lee,
I thought I would pass along to you how pleased we are with Gus, now five months of age.
At this early age he is working birds, pointing, steady to wing and retrieving pen raised quail. He also is starting to blood trail wild hogs and deer. He is a quick learner responding well to voice commands such as whoa, sit and down.
Gus has made friends with our GWP "Greta" and "Priscilla" our English Bulldog, and is a hit with our two teenage sons who are helping with the training and take an active interest in his education.
His personality is what one looks for in a GWP, calm, eager to please, intelligent, and very well socialized. After the first three weeks of house breaking he has been almost flawless with very few accidents and none in the last three weeks.
I would recommend anyone looking for a GWP pup to give Cedar Breaks Kennel serious consideration. So far we could not be more pleased and would be very happy to recommend Cedar Breaks Kennel to anyone looking for a high quality GWP.

I am proud to say that yes, that is a 5 1/2 month old puppy being backed by a two year old dog! Myself and my family have been avid bird hunters for close to three generations and in that time have predominantly dealt with German Wirehaired Pointers. We have used only a few select breeders to get our dogs in the past and were a little leary of doing business with a new source. May I say how pleasantly rewarded we have been! CBK's puppies have every attribute that you look for in a Wirehair. They are beautifully put together and their instincts are phenomenal! These points that you see in the photos are not induced. This is their natural breeding and genetics taking over. Not to mention that this puppy of mine has one of the best noses on a dog that I have seen in a very long time. Whatever it is that you are doing please don't stop! You are producing a top class dog. Thanks again.
